2. Analytics / reach measurement
We use our own, self-hosted analytics to understand how our website is used. Data is collected only after you give your consent via the cookie/consent notice. Without your consent, no personal usage data is collected and nothing is stored on your device. Section 3 describes the two anonymous figures we count for every visitor, which identify nobody.
If you consent, we process:
- your IP address (to roughly determine your country; the country is derived locally on our server — your IP address is not transmitted to any third party)
- the derived country
- the time, frequency and duration of your visit (time on site)
- the camera streams you watch and how long you watch them
- your device, operating system and browser (from the "user agent")
- a random visitor identifier stored in your browser (to distinguish returning visits; no personal identification beyond this website)
3. Anonymous reach counting (no consent required)
Independently of the analytics above, we keep two figures that cannot be linked to any person and are therefore counted for every visitor:
- the number of page views per country and per day
- how many pages are currently open ("watching now")
For the country figure, your IP address is used once, on our own server, to look up the country, and is then discarded. It is not written to any file or database. No identifier, no device information, no dwell time and no IP address is retained — what remains is a plain number such as “Thailand, 26 August 2026: 47”.
For the “watching now” figure, your browser generates a random value that exists only in the memory of the open page. It is not a cookie, is never written to your device, is not linked to anything, and is a different value every time the page is reloaded. Entries expire after 90 seconds.
Because nothing is stored on or read from your device, no consent under Section 25 TDDDG is required for this. Using your IP address for the single country lookup is based on our legitimate interest in basic reach statistics, Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Since no personal data is retained, there is nothing about these two figures that could be linked back to you.
4. Purpose & legal basis
The purpose is the statistical analysis of website usage. The legal basis is your consent under Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (and Section 25(1) TDDDG for storing information on your device).
5. Recipients / third countries
The data is processed on our own server and is not shared with third parties. No transfer to third countries takes place.
6. Retention period
The analytics data is stored for [e.g. 12 months] and then deleted or anonymised.
7. Withdrawing consent
You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by deleting this website's stored browser data (local storage/cookies). The notice will appear again on your next visit.
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority.
